...though actually I should be getting stuff together for my trip tomorrow. ANYWAY. This is for tehkiwidelight because, er, I was bored and TRC is attractive and there weren't anymore translations posted at the time I read the latest chapter SO I did one myself. :P

Here is the RAW chapter (hopefully this person doesn't mind me linking to it), and translation behind the cut.

TRC Chapter 162: Unfolding past

Splash page: Doctor Kyle and that curly-haired chick (I fail at names XD)
Text: Like fleeting comets, reborn souls cannot return to life (??)

Page 2:
(Fay seeing all the dead people etc.)

Page 3:
Text (Fay's memories): Of course, twins are a bad omen.
They call misfortune--
They call--
Valeria's king has lost his mind.
He kills those who have not sinned--

Page 4:
T (FM): It's all because of the twins.

Page 5:
Ashura: Then
as there are no longer living people inside the castle
shall I leave?
To find more to kill...

Page 6:
Fay (in memories and present-day): KING!!

Pages 7-11 (counting the two-page splash as two pages):
(KuroFay fight, lots of explosions, sound effects I can't be arsed to translate.)

Page 12:
Fay: FAY!!

Page 13:
Kurogane: I said it before--your past doesn't matter at all.
And--if what this guy's been showing us is your past--it doesn't even make sense!
Fay: ...What...?

Page 14:
Kurogane: If your magic power gets stronger the more you use it, and you use it as much as you can, then a curse like that--where you have to kill someone stronger than you--would become hard to invoke! (sorry, this sounds so terribly awkward XD)
Kurogane: But--
in the past we've seen, he said
Flashback!Ashura: The more you use your magical power, the stronger it will become. Having this tattoo will suppress the growth of your power, until the tattoo disappears.

Page 15:
Kurogane: Why wouldn't you want to get stronger?!
If this is all your past, WHY would you get that tattoo?!

Page 16:
Flashback!Ashura: I cannot stop your power from growing entirely, but I can suppress it.
The more you use your magical power, the stronger it will become. Having this tattoo will suppress the growth of your power, until the tattoo disappears.

Page 17:
FB!Fay: But...if we do that...
FB!Ashura: It's fine.
In a little while, you'll become an adult...and when "that time" comes, my power will be greater than yours.
Until then, it'll be problematic if you get stronger...
The curse that says you will kill the one stronger than you
will only activate once.

Page 18:
FB!Ashura: At that time, the one you kill will be me.
FB!Ashura: It would be best if you didn't think about this, but rather
if you only remembered me giving you this tattoo.

Page 19:
Kurogane: You put on a pretty good show.
Now that we've seen what really happened back then, what the hell are you planning?!

Page 20:
Ashura: I only want Fay to grant my wish.

That was fun! :D I kinda sacrificed literal translations for things that'd make sense in English, but yeah.

...Of course by the time I finish posting this there will no doubt be translations elsewhere, but eh. Still fun.

I KNOW. A lot of the fandom was freaking out over Kuro holding Fay's head down or whatever; I thought it was rather awesome.

Anyway he just does it out of love. :D Fay needs to be smacked around a bit.
