SENIOR YEAR first impressions etc.

Since I have now been to ALL the classes I'm having this semester...
First off? My suite is awesome. That has nothing to do with classes, right, but it remains a fact nonetheless. Thus far, I love 'em all. And we have done GROUP THINGS, gasp, VOLUNTARILY, i.e. had![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
silverfyre wake us up at 4:30 AM to watch the lunar eclipse! And piled into my car for a Target expedition. And despite me making kind of an ass of myself both times, and using reborn_anew as an in-joke, I think things have gone well!
Plus our common room is pretty. Or it will be as soon as I clean up the mess I made with the lamp boxes. Oops. :D
CLASS-WISE, homg, if I make it through Japanese this semester without having a nervous breakdown, I will be SHOCKED. Thank youvolwrath for listening to me whine, love and hugs and more love etc.
So yeah, don't really want to talk about Japanese here, have done my bitching for the day, am currently putting off starting homework.
MY OTHER CLASSES are actually probably going to be sort of boring except I love the reading for two of them and the third is semantics, which, er, is not exactly what I expected. At all.
But Hyde seems okay, hopefully, and I know like five people in the class which is always nice.
PRE-MODERN JAPANESE IS LIKE THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SIGNED UP FOR AND I LOVE IT AND I LOVE THE TEACHER AND MY CLASS IS ONLY FIVE PEOPLE AND OH MY GOD IT IS LIKE, like, like take my usual geek-level re: Japanese and multiply it by A BILLION and that is pretty much my Pre-Modern class. I JUST READ THREE CHAPTERS OF THE TEXTBOOK. VOLUNTARILY. IN ONE SITTING. (to be fair, it was a homework assignment, but, er, not actually required 'til tuesday, so...)
I keep accidentally skipping meals because I forget that places close...and that I don't actually have food with me in the dorm...also, I feel very old this year. I think I'm possibly the only senior in my building; my RAs are juniors, even. This bugs me and I'm not really sure why.
Also, I don't know what I'm going to do next week when I actually have to do library work, too. Because right now? Despite this long-ass entry (which to be fair has only taken me like five minutes)? I have ZERO TIME for ANYTHING. So, er, hopefully this will change...before next week. Else I will, er, die or possibly killreborn_anew.
